Thankful #22

Today I want to talk about how thankful I am for my husband..... Jonathan Aaron Schliep......

Now to spare you from a very sappy blog post where all I do is brag about my husband I'll keep it simple(ish)

I'm thankful for Jon because of his heart.
I'm thankful that he's real with me.
I'm thankful for his sense of humor (and how much he makes me laugh).
I'm thankful that we can be super goofy and dorky together.
I'm thankful for his heart after God.
I'm thankful for the face that he gets when he's focused.
I'm thankful that he's forgiving of my faults.
I'm thankful for the way he keeps me safe when he drives.
I'm thankful that with ALL the crap our marriage has endured he's continuing to be strong and walk this hard process with me.

Plus....... look how cute he is....

This is MY FAV picture of him

He took this picture right before he proposed

Even as a baby he was the cutest

I am so thankful for Jon and the joy he brings into my life.

Thankful #18-21

Time to catch up.... again.....

Today I am thankful for:

- My calendar (it keeps me in check and really helps to organize my chaotic life)

- The fact that Jon and I have been blessed by 2 well running cars

- Sleeping in on Saturdays

- That as an adult I can eat things I was never allowed or rarely ever got to eat as a kid. There's something that feels so good about doing it. Kinda like a "hey mom look at me NOW" type of attitude that feels soooo good. (If you're wondering where this is coming from, today I ate a bag of dried Top Ramen)

Thankful day #17

Today is all about my beautiful Cat Rogue.

Her names comes from the fact that Jon didn't want our first daughter's name to be Rogue. I fell in love with the name Rogue when I was growing up reading my cousin's comic books. I decided I wanted to have a daughter named Rogue. Now when I shared this with Jon he was less than pleased. especially when you consider that the name Rogue means rebellious one. He wasn't too keen on setting our kids up to already be trouble makers.

So that's how Rogue became Rogue. We also got her at the SPCLA shelter. We got her in May of 2010 and she is a constant blessing in my life.

There's just something about cats that know when you need a pick me up. She knows when i'm having a bad day. I swear she knows, cause on those days is when she will curl up in a little ball on my lap or come up and rub her face on my leg.

Now don't get me wrong she drives me crazy at times too....
like how she always steals my hair ties
or
how she will wait around the corner and then pounce on your feet
or
how when she's been outside she'll pretend at the door like she has to come in and then will run away the second you open the door
or
the fact that she does Parkour all over our walls in our apartment. If you've ever been over at our house you know what i'm talking about........ if you don't know what parkour is check it out on youtube-parkour

But the reality is I am thankful for Rogue and want to brag all about her cuteness (hope you're preparred for a ridiculous amount of pictures)

Here's Jon being real mature and picking her nose
